Expectation Is Proportional to Happiness

The first question that should have struck your head is which proportionality are you talking about. Is it direct or is it inverse. Today let’s decipher this proportionality. You would have come across people who expect very less in their life still they get more, more than their expectations and they are happy with it. Do they really expect less ? No, I don’t think so. Then, Why they look happy ? Are they pretending to look happy ? No, some are actually happy. I call these people are having ExIH attitude(just to define them). The big question is How they are happy? Let me explain this with an example. Consider school or college going students. They give exams and after that they expect some marks. Either expectations are higher or are lower. Many a times you would have seen people who remain positive even in difficult situations and you admire them. Many people think that it’s genetic, it’s in their genes. No, it’s not, positivity is a feeling, it has science but it’s an art. Yes, it’s an art, art of thinking positive even when you are surrounded by all negative thoughts. Positivity originates from self-motivation. Acquiring positivity in one day or night is not a cake walk. It requires practice. Successful people say motivate yourself everyday but it’s not as easy as it sounds. Imagine a difficult situation and how you reacted to that. You will realize that you were deceiving the negative thoughts, you were pretending to be positive and that’s what the practice I am talking about.
