Are You Unlucky?!!
Before Getting to the original
topic. Let’s start with a story of a small boy who was born in a small village
of India. He lost his parents at the age of 5 and was indirectly forced to do
the labour work to earn some money. He faced many more challenges at very early
age of his life. What do you think was he really unlucky? 99% of you must be
saying “what a stupid question, Of course he was unlucky.” Ok, let’s dive deep into
this question and try to find out the answer.
From the date when we are born till
today, we always hear that God is equal to all but is this the equality? Well
yes, we heard right that God is equal to all. Actually, when we are in trouble,
we don’t think the right way. Let me explain you this with the help of Mathematics.
I will call tragedies, adverse circumstances or dark phase of life as ‘sufferings’.
Actually, God must have decided a certain amount of sufferings for all and that
is equal for all. Let’s assume that amount to be 100. Let’s assume that a
person lives for 60 years on an average. If a person has suffered a lot in his/her
early ages then that amount of suffering is deducted from 100. Let’s assume
that amount of suffering deducted from a person’s life when he/she was 15 (age)
is 40, then what is left? Only 60 is left.
Age Sufferings
deducted
deducted
15 40
Age left Sufferings left
45 60
If you are even average in
Mathematics then also you can observe the ratios. What does that mean?
It simply means that if you have
suffered a lot at early ages then don’t worry my friend you will enjoy most of
the rest part of your life. This was what I was trying to explain. Don’t feel
low, don’t ask questions to God Why me? I know when you would be suffering from
something, people around you must be enjoying (Not because you were suffering, don’t
get it wrong). But trust me my friend there will be a time when you will
overcome that period of sufferings and enjoying your life thoroughly. You just
don’t have to lose hopes, just get going. Don’t feel unlucky instead feel lucky
that you have faced and overcame most of the challenges at an early age and now
most of your life will go smooth. There is nothing like pass of fail in the
tests taken by life and life won’t even judge you.
That’s cool right??
Now you may ask a real tough
question to answer that is,” I have seen a person who had born in a poor family.
He started doing labour work at early stages and he even died as a labour only.
Will you consider him a lucky person?” Well, this question needs another deep
dive. When we see somebody doing labour work, the first thought that comes in
our mind is how unlucky he/she is. Have you ever asked the labourer that is he
unlucky or not? You will be surprised to know that if he and his family has got
food to eat that day his answer will be “No, I am not unlucky” otherwise his
answer will be “Yes, I am unlucky”. Actually, their perspective has been
changed. They feel lucky when they have managed to eat food twice a day and
school fees of their children (if any) is not an issue. However, I still feel
that I couldn’t answer this question perfectly but I tried my best, to the extent
I can think.
So enjoy your life to the best
you can.
Very well said Deependra , the whole concept of luck is a random game. And sufferings are often aberrant but bounded to every living being. I really appreciate the work you do, motivating and inspiring people in your own special ways.
